The Tailored West Flagship boutique in Cañon City, Colorado offers professional tailoring and alterations. Our staff is ready to serve your tailoring needs Monday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm MST and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.

Tailoring and Alterations Pricing

We will give you a price once we have seen the item in person.

Prices subject to variations according to the item. Our turn-around time is 24 hours up to 14 days. Please let us know if you need expedited turn-around time prior to dropping off your garments and we'll accommodate your time frame to the best of our ability for an additional fee.

WEDDING AND FORMAL DRESSES
Wedding and formal dress alterations are by appointment and only available in the Cañon City store.

Must be brought into the Cañon City store for an estimate.

ALTERATION POLICIES

Items we do not take:

Garment Requirements

Garments must be clean and laundered for seamstresses to work on
Garments of lower quality or less value to customers will still be held to the same high standards and will be priced as such
Garments will not be accepted if they have been worked on twice
Garments pinned by customers will be charged again if work is not to customers' preference

FOR MULTIPLE GARMENTS, WE REQUIRE A 50% GOOD FAITH DOWN PAYMENT ON THE ESTIMATED FEE.

7-14 DAYS FOR ALL ALTERATIONS TO BE COMPLETED.

RUSH ORDERS UNDER 48 HOURS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $10-$20 RUSH ORDER FEE (DEPENDENT ON THE ALTERATION NEEDED).

Alteration Requirements

ONLY New or Freshly Laundered Garments Will Be Accepted.

For the health and safety of our staff, garments and fabrics must be clean or there will be a $5-15 handling fee per garment added to the alteration cost. We have the right to refuse garments or work.

Some fabrics are prone to shrinking. Washing before alterations are complete ensures a more accurate end product.

• Pre-marked, pinned items, or items with specific measurements must have signature approval by the customer at drop off. Tailored West will not be held responsible for incorrectly marked items that were pinned by the customer.

• Formal or Special Occasion Alterations are by Appointment Only! We recommend making an appointment for most alterations to ensure accurate alterations; and guaranteed one-on-one time with a seamstress.

• The Tailored West Alterations Department specializes in apparel. We reserve the right to refuse projects outside our purview or if items are soiled.
